1. Why do we need fundraising software in the first place?

You know that cultivating donor relationships is essential to fundraising. Fundraising software lets you organize your database and track critical donor and gift information. Why not build our own database with Access, Excel, or Filemaker Pro?

Many nonprofits build databases with programs like Microsoft® Excel, Microsoft® Access or FileMaker® Pro. Problems often result: redundant systems, duplicate data entry and information sharing difficulties. "Homegrown" databases also lack product support and training; they are vulnerable when the database designer or a key staffer leaves the organization. Exceed! Premier and Exceed! How about some examples of your products’ uniqueness?

Let’s say you want to acknowledge a father who is a major donor and a son who is a volunteer, with separate correspondence. And you also want to invite the entire family to an event. Our software provides the flexibility to do just that. Others don’t. Or, suppose you need to write a new report. Well, if you don’t know Boolean logic, you’re probably out of luck with other fundraising software, but with Telosa’s software you simply set up a query using simple, menu-driven processes and in a short series of clicks you’ve extracted the needed data.
