Increased
Ease of Use
- There
are quick keys for almost all the options on the Master Biographical
and Gift screens.
- Most
major screens are larger, which provide quicker data entry
and a less "cluttered " look.
- When
creating a report or mailing, users can move back and forth
between extraction screens. MacTRAC will remember the last
extraction and allow the user to edit that extraction.
- MacTRAC
has long had the ability to create defaults for the gift screen
to increase the speed of data entry. The same is now possible
for the biographical screen. Users may now create defaults
for City, State, Zip Code, Action Date and biographical codes.

New
Reports
- Several
new powerful reports have been added to MacTRAC 6.0, allowing
the user increased flexibility to manage their donor database.
We've listed a few below.
- The
Giving Totals report is a new report that is capable of up
to 8 columns of information. The report can extract on year-to-date
giving, giving totals from last year and the year before,
two sets of custom totals, total giving history to date, amount
of variance and percentage of change. The variance and percentage
of change are used to compare two sets of data, defined by
the user. This report displays a full range of donor information
in a simple, easy to read format.
- Another
new report is the Donor List by Size report. This report organizes
the different levels of donors by total amount of giving.
- The
LYBUNT reports allows you to target mailings to those donors
who have given "last year but unfortunately not this year."

Additions
to the Biographical & Gift Screens
- Entering
a second name for a donor has been made easier with the addition
of a second first and last name fields. Also added is the
ability to search for that second name in the Lookup screen.
- Our
programmers have been working to give users even more ways
to track donor information. This has led to additional fields
in the Biographical and Gifts screens.
- It
seems everyone has an email address or cell phone number these
days and MacTRAC can help with five additional phones fields.
- We
have also increased the ability for the user to customize
the program with the addition of three user definable date
fields and two user definable free form fields.
